Privacy Requests

Pathway Signals helps businesses reach people who are likely to be interested in what they sell. If you'd rather not be included, or want to know what information we have about you, you can ask us here.

Want to opt out?

Email [email protected] with the subject "Pathway Signals privacy request," or call (702) 789-7783. Tell us your name, email, phone and mailing address so we can find your records. There's no charge.

01What we do

Happy Path Marketing licenses consumer and business information from third-party data providers. Through Pathway Signals, we use that information to help our business customers build advertising audiences and marketing lists of people likely to be interested in their products or services. The information can include names, contact details, general demographic and household details, and interests or online research topics.

Depending on where you live, these activities may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or as targeted advertising, under state privacy laws. We do not let our customers use this information to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, employment, insurance, housing, healthcare or education.

02Your choices

Depending on your state of residence, you may be able to ask us to:

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information and of targeted advertising;
  • Delete information about you;
  • Access information about you, or get a copy;
  • Correct information that is wrong; and
  • Limit the use of sensitive information about you.

Anyone may ask us to opt them out, wherever they live. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

03How to make a request

Tell us which choice you want to make (for example, "opt out" or "delete"), your state of residence, and the details we should search for: your full name, email addresses, phone numbers and mailing address. The more you share, the better we can find every record about you.

04Verification

For opt-out requests, we only need enough information to find your records. For access, copy, deletion or correction requests, we need to confirm you are the person the information is about before we act, so we may ask you to confirm your email or phone number or provide other reasonable proof. We use what you send only to handle your request and keep a record of it.

05What happens next

We'll confirm we received your request. We remove you from Pathway Signals audiences and pass your request to our data providers so it applies at the source. We also tell our customers to suppress you from data they already have. We respond within 45 days, or tell you within that time if we need up to 45 more days and why.

To make sure an opt-out sticks, we may keep a minimal record (such as a hashed email or phone number) on a do-not-sell list. That record is used only to keep you out of future audiences.

06Authorized agents

You can have someone make a request for you. We may ask the agent for signed permission from you, and may ask you to confirm the request directly with us.

07Browser opt-out signals

Where the law requires, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising for that browser. A browser signal can't reach records tied to your name, email or phone, so for a complete opt-out, please also contact us directly.

08Appeals

If we deny your request, we'll explain why. You can appeal by replying to our decision with the subject "Privacy Request Appeal," or by calling (702) 789-7783. We'll answer your appeal within the time your state's law requires and, if we deny it, tell you how to contact your state attorney general.
